Fabulous historically interesting and architecturally interesting buildings and area. In common with numerous other sites/places in the city you really can get a feel and sense of times past, walking the seemingly ancient cobbled streets surrounding it your imagination is furnished with an almost time travel like realism.
Just had a browse, I didn't have much time
Plenty of shops to look around but many of the food and drink shops have track and trace if you use that, I personally don't like that and many shops have lost out on my money but that's just me not wanting to give personal details that's not necessary, masks and 6ft rule should be more than enough so be warned if shopping here.

I love looking in Primark! They have such a selection of clothes for the whole family, and also home wares upstairs. I purchased a lovely pink large sized throw for the lounge, as we are changing the colour scheme. It was only £12, I wish now that I had bought two!
A lovely young girl served me, she not only was a beautiful looking young lady, but she was so happy and had a great personality.
Had a nice hot drink at the muffin stop in the Lanes. I really recommend Primark, they have excellent prices, and it's not all cheap throwaway stuff. Amazing that some of their things, (clothes), are made from the cycled plastic!Amazing little market hall off the court. Fantastic independent coffee shops and would highly recommend the gyro food place in the market hall. Amazing value for money and genuinely authentic taste

Plenty of shops wide streets lots to do and see.bought a pair of brown boots from shie zone had coffee at a little cafe then went home. I love Carlyle and will be back soon xx

Love the courtyard feel. Just a pity we visited on a Wednesday night when virtually all of Carlisle was closed.
Thank God they kept the otters!! Many happy memories over the past 30 years of walking through the court. Love it.
One of the best shopping centres I've been to in a long while all the shops were occupied by genuine businesses
Very friendly place,great service,made to feel welcome especially with our old dog. Great food at a great price.
Brilliant place the history of the building is very much mind blowing just look up and enjoy the view
